Why we exist
Somewhere along the way, meeting people became a performance. You walk into a room and everyone's trying to impress everyone else — going round the circle doing their introduction like a job interview. Name, title, what you do. And by the time you're home, you can't remember a single face.
That's not connection. That's networking. And we think it's backwards.
So we flipped it. If you can't meet someone as a person, you'll never remember them as one — a business card was never a friendship. We're not here to count heads. We're here for the real thing: quality over quantity.
Make one true new friend in a quarter, and we've done our job. Six people, one table, nobody performing. Just the good part.
"You won't remember the person you interviewed. You'll remember the person you laughed with."
